Re: Chicken strips
Just fitted a new Metzler Z8 and not been out yet..... I was going to until I noticed a rear LED indicator had failed and decided not to risk it. Nice chap on eBay posted some new ones out to me 1st Class Saturday so hopefully here tomorrow. The Angel ST that came off had done 6,600 miles, though it...

Re: Number plate illumination. MOT requirement?
I have a Clear Alternatives LED rear light, but just brake light/rear light. (No indicators) It has clear plastic underneath as well so shines red light down onto the number plate. Probably good enough but not brilliant. It's been on for several years, always passed the MOT no problem - though I dou...

Re: Scots... :D
There used to be a well known Boot store up the Kings rd in Chelsea and it was called R Soles. (:-}) I pass through Stone on my way to work (a Village in Staffordshire) and there is a sign saying it's a Canal Town. I keep meaning to stop and somehow hide the C. It's a brown sign too - this is karma...

Re: Crap joke #169
My mate has a K1200S and his ABS has just failed.
BMW want £1,500 + fitting to fix it!!
A quick Google search and it appears it's probably just the brushes on the pump motor sticking. So hopefully it will cost £0 to fix.

Re: Gone to the dark side....
Nice bike and I hope you enjoy it. But your reasons for changing really don't make any sense. You say you don't do many miles and don't even need a bike - so why does fuel cost matter? You then spend several thousand pounds on a bike to save a few pounds a week? I went through this when I started a ...

Nice one Rob. It would be god to meet you and you know I want to hear those cans in the flesh :biggrin (:-}) I've got some Quill Evo2's on at the moment which I put on for the MOT. But just for you I'll put the Two Bro's back on. Actually for me too, they sound awesome I was just too lazy but while...

Re: Chicken strips
I went to check my chicken strips and instead saw something strange in the centre of the tyre.... closer inspection showed a distinct lack of rubber. Can't complain - the Angel ST has been a superb tyre and done probably close to 6k miles. Getting a Metzler Z8 fitted tomorrow to match the fro...

The guy did you a favour leaving it so you didn't have to go pick it up.
This is how you repay him?
