Re: Knees fecked and feet too big.....

I see what you mean. It's not particularly clear in the pics what I've done but the bracket is fixed with two M8 stainless cap heads, one of which passes through the existing foot peg clevis holding the peg in the usual way with a locking nut on the back. This pic just about shows what's what. https...

Loving the small details like the frame finishers on the Duke, excellent work all 'round Sir!

Re: Fuel consumption.

Getting 30ish to a gallon is one thing, having a painfully small tank is another. The combination of the two is the awkward thing. I personally don't have an issue with the Storm being thirsty, I'm happy to pay for that sound and power delivery but the range can be a little distracting sometimes... ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Did the TPS 'mod' today.

It was set at 1053 ohms! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

After filing the slots I got it set to 495 ohms and it's made a huge difference to the low speed running!

Dead chuffed I am! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: Knees fecked and feet too big.....

So I've had a squint at the linkage and checked out the angles of the dangles. The front crank on the gearbox shaft is looking pretty good and sitting around 90ยฐ to the linkage - https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-wzbdBsL/0/5e8c94e5/M/i-wzbdBsL-M.jpg The rear crank at first glance appears to be way...

Re: Cam Chain Tensioner Question

I would recommend taking a deep breath and removing all the bits...

It doesn't take too long and the above guide is brilliant.

If you've not done much on your bike, it's great opportunity to get to know it better and make working on it easier in the future.

All the best ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

Re: Knees fecked and feet too big.....

Hi Tony,

Good points!

The shifter's now in the middle of the three holes which I think has improved the angle a bit, I'll check tomorrow. It'd be nice to get it right.

Yes, I quite fancy bronze bushings to eliminate what little slop there is - definitely worth looking into ๐Ÿ‘

Knees fecked and feet too big.....

Yep, my knees are knackered and I'm stuck with size 12 1/2 feet. Now as much as I love my Storm, I struggle getting my feet up and the gear shifter feels far too short... Adjustable footrests are no problem and easy to source, but I needed an extra 1" in the gear shifter and it needed to be fur...
