Getting 30ish to a gallon is one thing, having a painfully small tank is another. The combination of the two is the awkward thing. I personally don't have an issue with the Storm being thirsty, I'm happy to pay for that sound and power delivery but the range can be a little distracting sometimes... ...

Did the TPS 'mod' today.

It was set at 1053 ohms!

After filing the slots I got it set to 495 ohms and it's made a huge difference to the low speed running!

It doesn't take too long and the above guide is brilliant.

If you've not done much on your bike, it's great opportunity to get to know it better and make working on it easier in the future.

The shifter's now in the middle of the three holes which I think has improved the angle a bit, I'll check tomorrow. It'd be nice to get it right.

Yes, I quite fancy bronze bushings to eliminate what little slop there is - definitely worth looking into
