Do you have, or have access to a mig welder? Just thinking about welding a nut on the remnants of the stud and gentle ease it back and forth - the welding also dumps a load of heat into the stud which helps

Not necessarily the young person's choice but I can highly recommend the old K11 Micra CVT - there's a very good reason the K11 still being used by takeaway delivery drivers.

Fitted an Electrex World Regulator Rectifier today. Lots of lovely cooling fins and a big dollop of thermo conducting gloop to help sink a bit more heat.
