Re: Water Proofs ???????
I personally use waterproof laminated touring gear all year round. However, I always carry one of these around with me either in my top box or just strapped to the seat to throw on over my riding gear to keep the worst of the weather off - https://www.arco.co.uk/products/1874000?s=1 It is a hard wea...

Re: iv went all italian
The Pegasso uses the Yamaha 660cc single engine which is sweet. I've had both the XT660X and the XT660Z and loved them both.

Re: Michelin tyres
I recently changed the Michelin Pilot Road 4's I had on my V-Strom. I got 8k miles out of the font and over 7k out of the rear and they were still legal and gripped well. The most impressive tyre I have ever used for all conditions. The PR5's are even more impressive so far. The performance and mila...

Re: Anyone else run Fuel exhausts?
I have a Fuel exhaust on my V-Strom and only ever run it with the baffle in. It is allegedly road legal with the baffle in but I had to chuckle at the racket it made at the MOT station the other week but the tester didn't seam to mind it.

Re: Sealing an unused wire end; a better way
This was part of the wiring on my last Falco before I started fixing it. https://www.aberdeenbikers.eu/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/IMG_20150413_180648.jpg Un-used ends finished off with the double heat-shink method - https://www.aberdeenbikers.eu/gallery/albums/userpics/10002/normal_IMG_20150415_2...

Re: what textiles
The latest RST textile kit looks pretty decent and the whole kit is now CE certified, not just the armour which can only be a good thing. If it's pissing down, windy or really cold I throw one of these ( https://www.arco.co.uk/products/1874000?s=1 ) over my jacket to keep the worst of the weather of...

Re: Oberon slave cylinder
I fitted an Oberon slave clutch cylinder to my 1100 Monster a couple of years ago. It does lighten up the clutch lever action but it isn't black magic. The clutch lever has to move further to have the same effect on the clutch at the other end. Therefore you have to adjust to the feel of the clutch ...

I'm glad you only went up to 500 posts or that would have left me out of some of the topics! I have only just clocked off after starting work at 6am this morning so will try and digest the rest of your suggestions when I am more compos mentis and I'll see what I can do. Thanks, Al. P.S.
