Re: Engine Noise
Sounds like carb fart - make sure idle is set to spec 1200—1300rpm to lessen chances of it stalling when idling or in low speed turns. No real cure apart from make sure carbs are balanced and TPS is set to spec.
Best not lug the engine in too high a gear at low speeds.

Re indicator switch
Already had to do mine when it became hit or miss in working - Open up the switch, uncsrew where it rotates blast with cleaner spray - let it evaporate away, then add some silicone grease.

Re: Timing Chain Auto Adjusters....
Best replace the auto CCTs with manual tensioners - and no need to change timing chains. *** Read Me for New Members *** > Bike Maintenance and Upgrades/Modifications > https://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=304638#p304638 https://p198.p4.n0.cdn.getcloudapp.com/items/4guJREYl/vtr-cct-bell_cu...

Greetings
To reduce sound of 'click' fit a loud exhaust can and wear earplugs :-) Seriously, most likely chain on link pipe...
Plus any pics of your new Storm beastie?

Re: Engine tuning
"am starting to think it's not an easy engine to tune ?" Yes the VTR V2 isn't as amenable as an IL4 to plug'n'play cheap tuning mods. Apart from lightened flywheel for a different feel. You can throw in a freer flowing airfilter and cans, dynojet kit and few dyno runs to fine tune it to ge...

Re: Poor handling
Try taking the shock spacer out - and /or start from scratch and use slotted washes so you can increase ride height in 2mm increments till you're happy. Also make sure the front tyre matches the rear, is in date, isn't squared off and pressures are set to spec. Cornering > https://www.vtr1000.org/ph...
