I've been thinking of changing my Firestorm for another V-twin. I was thinking SP1, SP2 if I have the cash or then, but then, something more modern and I'm leaning to a KTM SuperDuke....

Anyone had experience of one of these?

RC8 instead?

Hmmm, the big question is, RC8 or 1098? I'm more tempted by the RC8 because of two things, 1) more comfortable and adujustable, 2) no rattle clutch.

What would you go for?

What's the difference between Dot 4 and Dot 5? It's for my track bike and I presume that Dot 5 is better? But why?

Not sure if this has been posted before but I think it should be made sticky. Superb website, must have taken a long time to set up. Remember, no Tax to pay on imports from within the EU. Other bikes available too.... http://www.oemmotorparts.nl/oem4.asp?M=Honda&T=VTR%201000%20F%20Firestorm&...

SP2 MC

I'd like to improve my front brake on my firestorm track bike, I'm already using some very expensive pads and good quality discs. Ebay have a SP2 from master cylinder and I was thinking of putting it on. Would there be that much of an improvement in braking? I don't want to replace the calipers, not...

105db's is really quite loud, it should be no problem for your bafflectomy. As the previous post says, race cans normally are under this.

Make sure your bike is fully warmed up before doing the test.... should be no issue - good luck

I've just had a one piece suit made from hideout and they are nothing short of brilliant. The measuring, the fitting and the finished product are all first class. Kate and her team were excellent, lots of communication, great advice and they pushed to get it ready well inside the recommended time wh...

Bringing back an old thread

Hi All, I've booked in a track day at Silverstone on the 5th May, a BH Monday. Hot Traxs for 165 for the GP track. I thought it was quite good value as I paid 99GBP for Cadwell on a Friday. I agree with Cadwell, it's a lovely course. I came off my mates firestorm track bike coming down the hill at t...
