Nah not quite, I've already got matching lovely powder coated wheels, it's just a case of making the rear wheel fit the storms swinger...

Re: Michelin Pilot 4

I love pr3s I'm wondering now if they still sell them! Thank christ I've still got a lightly part worn set. Great all round tyre, if they've only improved them with the 4s and 5s then I'd say investigate them further!!!

Re: Antifreeze/Coolant?

Guessing for a better flush? There's a guy on YouTube I think called chrisfix who did a proper flush of his car coolant system, interesting to see the difference from start to finish. Use de-ionised water!

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

I've got a couple of weeks off over the Xmas period so I'm hoping to crack on with putting the r1 front on the bike but I'd like to match the r6 wheel to the back. The problem I have is the spindle for the r6 is 28mm, the storm is 20mm. So I'm wondering a few things now. (fingers crossed the wheel f...

Re: Winter is coming

Is the PAIR system fitted only to some vtrs or maybe not to UK vtrs? I went to fit similar blank plates but it seems that my bike was spared it.

Re: Tell you what fatboy

I still do not understand deplomatic immunity. It was in an episode of csi miami and I remember thinking then it's just a get out of jail free card for anyone with enough influence. Really don't see how it applies in this Harry's case. Not right, ship her back, 2nd that do the crime do the time. Sen...

Just wondering why do we as VTR owners need this letter of conformity? Surely Mr Honda can just send the info to TFL?

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

Little update on the bike today. Thought I'd do the tps adjustment by bending the lower bracket a bit, managed to get 429ohm so decided that was as close to the argued magic number of 430! Personally I believe the 430 number is a bit of an error. Yes it was shown on the OP post to give a slight boo...

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

Yeah that's right, it's the aussie guy but I got them new off ebay recently for only £50! I thought it was a bargain if only to test the water getting more ponies out of the storm! Funily enough after reading a few posts I have removed the front intake 'snorkel' and I don't think theres much else t...

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

Went on a spin today, wow what a difference. Very responsive, perfectly ticking over as well at low speeds through villages. Came back from the ride so happy with it told the missus to get her helmet and gear and went out again! Obviously we were out getting food supplies both times......... Sent fr...
