I agree Davide, I rode with some guys last weekend on GSXR1000s and a CBR954. The guy on the Honda & I left the Gixxers behind & I definitely seemed to have better drive out of the corners than the CBR. Of course a better rider would have passed me on either of those bikes. But that's not th...

Hi Davide,

Greetings from Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Wow, very impressive! So many in the UK fluent in the Italian language. I'm quite certain I don't know anyone in America who speaks Italian, except for true Italians working in restaurants, which is fairly common here. Cool!

Damn!!! Those guys never had a chance! Looked like the guy in the car never even touched the brakes.

I'll be an even more avid mirror user now. BTW, get some mirror extenders or put some R1/R6 mirrors on your VTR & you will be able to see behind you.

Ah........ :? think i understand now....(not a chance) ok then. you gave me the figure according to the rear tyre, but the sigma's fitted to the front, (120/55/17) whats the figure for that one? (still lost on working it out) (thanks) (is this right?) - 120 x 55% = 66 so, 66+431.97 (17")+66 = ...

Good to know, baz. I plan to get some cans, but don't want to mess with the carbs.
Anybody else out there with aftermarket exhaust w/o jet kit? Love to hear your results.

Paddy, If you're talking about the strip of rubber that holds two of the triangles together in the Cush Drive, I believe they're there primarily to make positioning on assembly easier. Still, as my wife will tell you, I'm no expert! As far as punctures, I'm the cheap type. The best repair is with a ...

Hey yellafella, you mentioned they wear down the center on R & you use std. pressures. Ever thought of lowering the R pressure? There's a good chance that might give more even wear. Plus the std. Honda pressures are quite high compared to other bikes I've seen. I checked the Metzeler website &am...

I have a half used Michelin Pilot Sport on the F & a 1/4 used Dunlop D220 sport-touring tire on the R that I bought when the Michelin R wore out. I have found no problems at all w/handling. Do your tires wear out down the middle, or evenly? From this forum I've found that many of you in the Brit...

After putting in 500 miles on the 'Hawk this weekend & riding with a buddy who owns an RC51, I can only say it's a lot easier than trying to keep up on my old Katana 600 (which I rode for 4 1/2 yrs).
The grunt off the corners is a refreshing change. Plus my clutch hand isn't always cramped up.

I'm 53. Think I'm 30. Feel like...oh, 53.
You guys that say you're 50, but you feel like you're 18...well I'm not buying it. You may try to ignore the aches & pains... but they're there. And they weren't there in younger years.
