Do you find you can get enough on them to undo tight allen bolts??

Always make sure the allen socket is inserted as far as it will go into the allen bolt head. Sometimes a tap with a hammer is needed to get them in fully and not to slip and round off. Halfords are of reasonable quality for the price and you can buy single sockets rather than a set if skint. (:-}) ...
