Re: XT1200Z

A nice selection of bikes you have there Swagger  I bet the XT1200Z makes for a nice ride now the colder spell is almost with us. Chris. Thank you for that. I do appreciate that I'm very fortunate to have them. They will be with me for a good while and they'll be very heavily used. I do ab...

Re: Headlight

.... they can fetch 100 on egay - have fun trying to find a reasonably priced one! I don't mind the cost ... I just don't want to buy a naff one with similar issues to mine. I knew that I'd need to replace mine when I bought the bike. It's not critical but I'd like to make it look good. I'll probab...

Re: Headlight

It'll be difficult to photograph but I'll give it a go. I think I'm asking the question as to whether Firestorm headlights corrode or generally degrade from the inside. If not, and I can't see why they would, I can buy a secondhand one without fear of getting a similarly f*cked up variant. This bike...

Headlight

My headlight has weird marks on the reflector .... the black internal bit at the front also has marrks on it. Looks like something has been rolling around inside ... looks real second hand. Question. Has anyone else got a similar marks? I'd like to get a second hand one off of ebay but am nervous th...

Back to indicators

Right me lads. I'm gonna get some pattern part units. Trouble is there are two types. Some that are the size of the OEM's and some that are a little more slender. My sense of order goes for the slender ones. Does anyone have them are they OK?

Re: no tabs

Seriously, if you have any kind of ability re airfix modelling give the Plastech and ABS plastic sheeting a go. You can achieve brilliant results.

Re: no tabs

If the tab has broken on the body panel you could build a very professional repair using 'Plastech' products. It's not actually a structural fixing point so as was said you could dog it.

Re: SP1 Bought.... Not Happy....

Good man. Put it down to experience. I know how unpleasant being duped can be but there are positives to be had from it. Hope you get it confirmed that it's the full power version. Enjoy making it your own. Now get out there and ride it and have fun. :) Good luck and keep smiling.

That's a similar concept to the MT-01 .... big air cooled V Twin in a very capable frame. I like that look a lot.
