Think I'll give roger a call about the forks - cheers On the shims etc I think either the guy throught I knew nothing or he didn't understand what I was after - hard to say - but I'm going to go to my tried and trusted garage (non-honda dealer) to get the bike MOTed and serviced. Fraisers in Glouces...

Sadly no idea at all - the filter that was on there wasn't a honda part - it was a champion (I think). Swapped it for the honda one. The rubber on the old one didn't appear anywhere near as thick as the stuff on the honda one, but it's hard to say as it's obviously compressed quite a bit being on th...

Nasty Oil Leak
Went out to get on the storm this morning only to find it standing in the garage in a deep puddle of oil. Obviously took the car instead :-( All of the oil seems to have come from around the oil filter area at the front of the engine, but couldn't tell from the brief look I took at it as it's got a ...

"BikeSafe" Cheltenham this weekend (2nd/3rd April)
Anyone going?
I would have been on my 'storm, but http://www.abercon.co.uk/vtr1000/phpBB2 ... 1841#21841 so I've going to be a pedestrian instead.

Cheers Martin Good advice. Talking to fraisers today they said they do quite a few assessments for NU and normally they are fine if it's third party faults. He said as long as brakes and tyres aren't illegal (ie: too worn) then there shouldn't be an issue. He did say they'd only probably replace the...

I'm going to give it a try and see if they'll let me have a copy, but I don't hold out much hope. Worth a go though. Honda dealer in cheltenham is coming to pick the bike up tomorrow, so should get a full assesment of the damage soon. Apparently her insurance has admitted liability in light of the p...
