cleaning chrome

I use Autosol on my chrome parts aqnd it does the job well. I found this on my internet travels

Is the Simonez a similar colour to stock Sirch?? cause I like the colour of the stock, silver with almost a hint of gold in it (thats if you compare it to silver hammerite that is). I thought about polishing them but how long do they stay chrome like before the Scottish weather sets in??

Fork painting

The paint on the forks is starting to show its age in places, what is the best way to tidy them up. I did a little test area with silver hamerite but its way to silver.
