Re: Heel plates for Harris Rearsets....
Ended up with ZX6R ones - just the right shape. Just getting the left hand mountings drilled and tapped for M8 and that's the last bit remaining - barring a polish!

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Thanks chaps, I was expecting to be shot down in flames tbh! :) I agree that for a lot of riders +4mm here & -4mm there will make diddly squat of difference but for a few, it would indeed 'transform' setup-A from setup-B. That about sums it up..... for some the changes are not noticeable, thoug...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Took P's clip-ons and yoke off at weekend, rest fitted the CB400SF yoke. Slips on a treat, but the fork tubes foul the bars I have - by about 25mm. Hmmm. Time to think of Plan "B". Offset Bar Risers? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/08/8ejyqaza.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/10/08/anu5uzu...

Re: Misfire - 3,500-4,000 RPM
Well - I pulled the carbs off and apart last weekend. Some gunk in the rear main, but that's it. Cleaned the bowls etc, but by then my back was fooked, so no test run. If I can drag my lazy butt out of bed I might stick some miles on it this morning.

Heel plates for Harris Rearsets....
At present I have some carbon ones, but they don't fit in well with the hi level links, and I don't like the carbon look. Anyone using an alternative? I've been looking at ZX6R or Fireblade units. IIRC the centres are 48.5-50mm ish (Yamaha Thunderace Brembo M Cyl) and I will almost certainly have to...
