Firestarter......surley its cheaper to get the VFR400 front wheel (or poss early CBR600) than buy discs? Ive seen wheels on the bay from about £30 upwards depending on condition and everything else you have fits :D

Have this job on my cards too. Love the look! :biggrin :biggrin :biggrin

@ Geordie..........I set mine per the APE instrucions provided. They say adjust the freeplay between the camshaft wheels to 1/4 to 3/8 play. After setting them I also wound them off with the engine running to hear the rattle then wound them in slowly till it just stopped + 1/4 turn. This had me near...

ST cheers for measuring your APEs - good to know yours are very similar. :thumbup: Fiddled a bit tonight slackened them to rattle then tightened to stop +1/4 turn. Should also have said I know it also depends on the wear on the slider, chain strech etc. My bike has 25k so there will be strech and wear!

H/L Leo Vinche cans and wheels painted gold. Need to get belly pan (mirowaki style) and some nice rearsets. :thumbup:
