Yeah. I was thinking of having just one pipe in the conventional position attached to the offside footrest.

Fair point, but I fancy doing something different and don't want to change the bike.

Single pipe conversion

Anybody know of a manufacturer who supplies a conversion to a single exhaust rather than the pair on the firestorm. Or any advice on the subject. Thanks.

Le Mans MotoGP

Hello all.
I'm going to the MotoGP at LeMans later this month. Can anybody recommend a good place to view the racing from and are ther any of those diamond screens like they have at Donington?

Thanks in advance.

There easy to fit. You need to loosen the fairing panel off a bit and remove a bolt that holds the engine onto the frame. then they attach using a sturdy bracket. 30 job-thats 10 minutes doing it and 20 minutes worrying about if you have tightened it all up enough.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't use any sealant, just tightened everything up as hard as I could. As for the fit, I found the right hand pipe was fine but the left would not go fully onto the down pipe because of the bracket that bolts to the foot peg holds it back by about 1/2 an inch. This left pi...

Fitting Road Legal Cans

Hello I've just bought some Blueflame cans, the ones with the removable baffles. Fitting them was no problem, even for somebody of my limited technical ability. They sound great but I have a question. When you close the throttle they make a popping sound and it runs a bit rough than before, I've got...

Try searching for tyres on ebay. I got a pair of sports touring Avon tyres for my storm, £110 inc P + P. They had sticky and super sticky ones as well, same price. I almost pursueded my wife the bike was economical until she noticed the £400 race cans.

Thanks for the advice.
I think I'll get one, probably look around for a dark tint one.

Double bubbles

I've just rode back through France, covering 720 miles in a day. Apart from a numb butt, the only problem I had was neck ache. I was cruising (hanging on) at about 90-100mph most of the way. My question is, do Double Bubble screens work, and what make fits best. Any advice would be greatfully reciev...

Fuel Gauge

The fuel gauge on my 2003 firestorm goes down to the last of its blobs, but when I fill up I can only get 11 litres in. This would indicate that there is still 8 litres in the tank. My question are:

1. Is this normal?
2. Can it be adjusted to be more accurate?

Thanks in advance
