It's a Honda, the reg/rec is always the first suspect :( It does sound like the regulator is fubared and not charging the battery enough, but it could also be the alternator, or just an old battery not holding its charge. I'd have made certain that I'd identified the problem before spending money on...

What's the windblast like on the Speed Triple above 100? I wouldn't like to ride for more than a few minutes at that speed. It's fine up to 85 or so, gets tiring after that. As most m-way traffic travels at this speed, it's no problem. Better for my licence too ;) The roads I ride for fun don't rea...

Not quite, but I bought this a few weeks ago http://www.druid16.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/striple/striple1.jpg Compared to the Firestorm its a fair bit quicker, but with the same ability to pull hard from any revs. Neutral handling, turns in easily and holds my chosen line well. Brakes are fine, riding p...

Thiswas probably the most comfortable bike seat I have ever put my butt on. Not cheap, but worth it if you are spending a long time in the saddle.
Re: Tyres
Anyone run Pirelli Diablos? Fancy a change from my Avon ST's, although mileage has been phenomenal. If anyone has, what sort of mileage did you get from them etc Thanks Had Diablos on mine, they replaced the original 020s. Felt similar to the Bridgestones, nice and neutral steering, plenty of feel,...

Bikebandit lists different part numbers for early and late models. It is a US site so it may not apply to UK models.
Edit: iirc, the US models don't have the 19ltr tank anyway, even on the later bikes

Vesrah are well known - make lots of car parts. However, there are a couple of issues that I would think about before spending my money: 1. What material are the fittings? Alloy is the cheapest material but it is not recommended for road bikes as it can corrode and split, like this  http://www....
