Braided hoses

So... I fitted some Hel braided brake lines last year and a great improvement. Getting the bike sorted for this year and I have just fitted a set of Gillies vario bars with riser. They are great but you guessed it, the Hel brake lines are now too short, as is the clutch hose. So the question is wher...

Re: here she is

Yeah, it was really good albeit secondhand. They're licensed ohlins suppliers so it was stripped rebuilt and serviced and they gave it a 12 mth warranty. The difference over standard is amazing but by far the best thing so far has been the forks. I cannot believe I waited so long before getting them...

Re: here she is

Not been on the site for a while so just spotted this. It looks a bit like a Ducati face and I like the twin head light compared to the standard candle. Since i'm now in the market for new fairings can you give me the name of the company that makes them. Also have just relocated to Manchester area f...

Insurance for mods...

Where's the best place to get insurance for a modified VTR? Mine should be back on the road in the next couple of weeks but with a few mods. It was off the road to have a respray but I got side tracked by discussions on here about improving the handling :D ..... when it goes back on the road it will...

Re: rough running after manual cct change...

I followed the guide in the knowledge base. very good they were too, and the whole process was much quicker than I thought. I can't remember any weird noises from before (apart from a whining noise which it's had since new). It may well be that I'm just being paranoid. I do need to check the valve c...

rough running after manual cct change...

So I started the storm today for the first time this year - been too busy etc... Anyway whilst it's been sitting around I've been doing a few mods - fettled forks, new rear shock, braided brake lines etc... and the swap to manual CCTs. Fired her up today (fired on the 3rd turn so well impressed) and...

Re: Mario Nava

Yeah they look great. I checked out gettin gthe fairings in January (shelved the idea due to cost of replacing the shock which has somehow led to a swingarm project ...) anyway they're not that expensive considering. Complete fairing EURO 445.00 Upper and lower fiberglass made Complete fairing, race...

Re: crash

Ouch ... looks painful but at least you will mend. ...Get back on as soon as you can but try not to rush it, a few of my mates have done that and thrown it away agin because the shoulder wasn't quite fixed... All the best and hope you feel better soon.
