Daz sorted the ART cans for a bargain!!!

Cheers to Iggy and Fluffy for putting me in touch with Daz. The man sorted me out with steel ovals for £200 :D !!!!!!! Finally fitted them and Lordy!!... what a beautiful sound. The wifes not too pleased about the windows rattling, but I pointed out it's no way as loud as the can on the TT. Every c...

Thanks guys. Anything to reduce the spending is popular on the Home Front. Yeah, i'd love that price list Iggy. Thanks a lot. I'll still go along... see if I can beat anyone down.
Cheers

Best buy in slip-on cans

I'm off to Ally Pally this W/E looking for a nice set of ovals at a nice price (a very big factor in the choice). Anybody got any recommendations or steer-clears?

Same goes for Double bubbles and moulded tank guards. Credit card now warming up.

Hi Wayne
You could see it was bent, very visible indeed. I just don't get it - there's not a scuff on anything else as I fell on impacted snow and ice. Weird.

Yep. This bung set was R&G, thanks for the memory jog. I've looked the bike over and ridden since the ice cleared and there's no apparent damage, not a scratch or a wobble. i'm just wandering how I'm going to get the wombles out now, looks pretty solidly jammed in. A word of caution before anyon...

The weirdest thing happened to my crash bungs...

I need some help tracing a link I followed from this site to where I bought some crash bungs. But first, here this... Being a rain or shine rider I got caught by the snow on Weds and ended up on my butt, loosing traction on ice. The good news: it was all of 5mph and the recently fitted crash bung di...

Skatrekker Monday is the last day of freedom before being tied to the desk again. if the sun shines I could be tempted... mind you, a big storm (as forcast) might leave a lot of sh1t on the road. i'm seriously thinking about it though. To any Jocks watching - i lived in Glasgow for 4 yrs so i know y...

Thanks for the info guys, now I know I'm not just being paranoid and I'll look into the bigger tank. See what I can get from the reckers, but it's usually the first thing to go. What a stunning day in London today, topped off by screaming thru Hyde Park Corner/Park Lane/Marble Arch with nearly zero ...

Sorry to say it but I've had no luck trying the same thing (Oooooh the shame of it!). It's down to the Honda dealer and order one, which could take months! they have to come by banana boat from Japan!!

In the meantime the wonderful Hayes can do something for you.

That ****ing tank range...

Hi all again. You haven't heard from me in ages when I had a few Qs on suspension - thanks to all the advice, a real help although tightness of pocket will prevent me from getting the whole thing overhauled for now. In the meantime, learning to live with it and really enjoying the bike... except for...

Another new guy with a few questions...

Hi all I've just joined the world of the Storm and the first week has been a joy. It's the silver lining to a cloud that left my beautiful TT600 under a bus (I don't care what anyone says it's a wombles fantastic bike), the insurance gave me just the right money to buy a mint '99 Storm. A mate (Falc...

As it turned out it was just a matter of looking and found it anyway. So far so good. Let's hope its nothing more serious than this and otherwise I'm loving the bike!

New owner with a cut-out problem

Just bought a second hand Storm, thought I'd done my research but hadn't noticed the big debate on idle cut-out. Well I seem to have a bad case of it, having driven home from the dealer half way down the country. They'll sort it but I don't really want to keep chundering up and down the A1 til Xmas....
