Hi guys. Looks like the Vic is a goer. In the meantime you can help out the Vic. Below is a message from John the landlord, on the pub newsletter. Send in your votes and put Olivia/Venka at the top of the tree! A plea from The Vic Bikers Pub: Hi, any chance we could ask a favour of you? We ha...
Oi, Ian and Stu. If you're going to the Vic informally give us a PM and I'll tag along. BTW the 'real' bike night is Thursday. Hate to turn up on scooter night  Will start sorting things out with John ASAP, as the interest is really encouraging. It would be useful if those interested in campin...
Also one other problem is that at times i know this sounds really weird but i experience a pop or some sort of pressure release in the gas tank. ( while i am riding) any help would be greatly appreciated I have this problem as well, it's like a little pop under the tank... Mines a UK bike (2000) wi...
Yeh, yeh. Bit of a problem with my wrist too. If all else fails blame it on the bike. Nah, seriously I have trouble with my joints. Can't always roll them tightly enough. Oh sh1t. No, hope you make a full recovery Fireman, and if not, find summat with a Vtwin so we can still speak to yo...
Got a few worky type things up to Bank Holiday, then I'll begin to try and sort things out with John at the Vic, who is generally really helpful. Keep asking the questions though guys, cos it keeps the thread at the top of the list and therefore in peoples minds.

MDJ asked Sorry to be hoplessly ignorant but who is Wayne M, people keep reffering to him? :?: Wayne was a major contributor to this site, who died on his way to the Big GT. I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like an all round good guy. I'm sure his friends in the south are better placed to...
A while ago I suggested a repeat of the Big GT, in memory of Wayne M and hopefully raising some charity cash. Didn't get much response to that one. :( However, I did suggest that we (i.e. me) could try and arrange something, probably based around the Victoria at Coalville (see link below). The Vic i...
Aah, a civilised response at last! Thank you Ian. Cottage should be available for rent later in the year to an elite few (such as Stormers, who are, of course, a very civilised and discerning bunch  ). Watch this space. I can highly recommend the road between Nyons and Serre which is wide open...
My light comes on at 12 litres. In theory that leaves another 4 litres, but I assume max 3 litre reserve. This occurs at 85 - 95 miles according to how I've been riding, which is 7-8 miles per litre (32-36 mpg). So at 20 miles over I'd be concerned. Mind you, I bet I could really eke out the consump...
Ian, Usually I like your jokes but I'm really not sure what you're trying to put across with this one. It seems to somehow be polarising the sexes, implying that women are somehow more sensitive and that men are just shallow and brutal. I consider myself reasonably well adjusted and am capable of be...
