Re: A bit of advice from you with SP1s

Evening All, Its been a fair old time since I was last online here and have read through some of the suggestions and have to make a list of the things I need to get the bike back on the road. This year has just romped by and I've spent far to long working and not done many of the things I planned to...

A bit of advice from you with SP1s

I have had an 03 SP1 sitting in my pals garage for just over 6 years (bit of an outdoor barn find!!! and those of you that know me from old will remember me getting it and pics on here somewhere) I will be at the stage soon when I will make a start on getting a few bits stripped off it and ne...

Re: Manx GP 2022 ?

I see it is the centenary of the Manx in 2023.

I've always fancied going to the island and time is passing me by, be less hectic than the TT and for a rusty old Duffer like me that might be better.

Re: The bike you regret selling

My First bike, an old XL250k3 Reg, OST 311S

Not fast, but good memories of knocking around with pals on their bikes as you did in those days.

I swapped it plus cash for a black LC 250 Reg DAS 231W in 1982, night and day regarding speed!!

The XL was a great machine and I wish I still had it.

Orange one A9 Friday

Hi All,
Clean looking R regd Storm passed me (in the van) on the A9 heading up the hill from the Tore roundabout on Friday about 10.00am, he was giving it a good handful and me as always had the window down lapping up the grand sound.

Cheers

Re: Isle of Man 2018/19

Hi Kev, Thanks for the reply, I would be hoping to take the SP over and I suppose realistically 2019 is the better idea, as it will probably take me that long to get the bike fettled. If my enquiry for the apartment comes to nothing I would be delighted if you had a contact for accommodation. I was ...

Isle of Man 2018/19

Hi All, Nothing on this afternoon so I decided to seriously look in to going to the 2018 or 2019 TT. It seems to be a forgone conclusion that 2018 is a no no, as trying to find accommodation and ferry crossings at sensible times for race week are like looking for half a needle in a haystack and I do...
