Insurance

I'm with Carole Nash too, £330 TPFT, 1 yrs NCB, no points (then), garaged and datatooled.

Beware, I don't get commuting in with that, they wouldn't even consider it, only Social Domestic and Pleasure!

Every ones raving about Honda at the minute, give them a try too

One liners - do not take offence (Kaz)!

How do you turn a fox into an elephant? Marry it. What is the difference between a drug dealer and a hooker? A hooker can wash her crack and sell it again. Why do men pay more for car insurance? Because women don't get blow jobs while they're driving Why do women call it PMS? Mad Cow Disease was alr...

Relate

Man and wife go to relate to attempt to patch up their marriage....

To find some 'common ground' the councilor asks the couple, 'Is there anything either of you doesn't like doing?'

The husbands immediately replies 'Yes, sucking d1ck!'

6/10?

Bugger

A letter from the North Wales police dropped on the doormat this morning, speeding fine! Bugger bugger, 41 in a 30 apparently. It was taken from a mobile camera in the back of an unmarked van somewhere on Angelsey (one of my mates noticed it) I know its my fault but bugger again! I prefer the forwar...

VFR800i

Been reading a few reviews on the new VFR and there's a couple of things to be aware of: 1) Linked brakes - Theres no option to just put the back brake on on a slippy roundabout, it automatically puts a bit of front on too! 2) That VTEC - It only uses the top end when you get past 7000 revs, the tro...

GPS

done a bit of looking around and the Garmin StreetPilot looks a popular model, but retails around £500. A bit of a luxury it seems.

Import

Ian When I looked into buying an import, the only issue I found was if you bought new, the warranty was with that dealer and not Honda, therefore problems and servicing would have to be carried out at the place you bought it. If your buying a bike out of the warranty period, not an issue. If its got...

Anyone got any experience of GPS systems for their bike?

What are the popular/recommended makes & models, and how good are they?

Banjo bolts

I have just got a M&P flyer through the post and they are offering Earls 2 x brake line kits (stainless) for £36.99 (ex P&P) They also sell seperates, ie double banjo bolts, these are in 2 sizes, 1.0mm and 1.25mm, but which does the 'storm need? Presumably these would be contained in the ki...

Wet and cold

Got back after doing a total of 550miles, not too bad for a weekend blast. Cost a few quid in fuel though! Bike perfromed tremendous, especially that 4th gear rollon/rolloff, only one scary moment when I didn't come off the brakes into a corner.... lift of turn in, around I got. It never stopped rai...

Petrol

Back on the subject of petrol....... Done quite a few miles this weekend but didn't get particularly good tank range, 100miles and 1 square left, but only to find I could only get 10L in!! When chatting about it over a pint last night, my BMW biker mate suggested the poor tank range was due to 20% o...

Suggestions

Cupa The only suggestion I can make is: Have you made sure there is no air left in the flexible tube feeding the drip tube. Best way to do it is to open the oiler up fully, connect the Oil container onto the inlet using the connector provider, and squeeze the the in until it starts to drip out of th...
