Cheers

Thanks boys, cans back on now. Rattler, I did ask at the garage if I could leave the cans on and they said no, but it was over the phone so they could have been covering, just in case. Touble is, I haven't the time during the day to take the bike back, so I've swapped them any way. Got the originals...

Help re-fitting Exhausts

MOT is due later this week and I am putting the original cans back on the storm. Thing is I can't remember how they hang!! Do the exhaust brackets/plate for the rear foot peg hangers sit on the outside or inside? Likewise for the hangers behind the gear and back brake pedals, does the mountin...

new brakes - wow

dkt Just replaced my front pads with EBC HH sintered pads, and gave the calipers a real clean at the same time. Not sure I like them now, they are just too sharp! As you say, minimal pressue and you're nearly over the front end. I liked my old brakes where I could slam them on coming into a mis-read...

EBC HH

Are these the pads that EBC refer to as 'sintered?' What does this mean? Thinking about getting some for my front end, just wanted to make sure they were the recommended ones. BTW, Should I still use copper grease to stop these squeeling? How much for a pair, £20? Probably won't fit braided hoses j...

A76

Cupasoop I waited for ages but you didn't turn up, you must have started your new job... We passed by on the Friday morning, not much traffic and the A76 was a great 'taster' for what was to come later. You really are lucky having roads like that on your doorstep, even the A737 up to Jonstone...

God's own country

Just got back from doing a 4 day ride to Skye (Uig) and back from Sheffield. No motorways (except over Erskine/Forth Rd Bridges) or dual carriageways, all A and B roads, plus the odd unclassifed. We covered about 1200 miles and I must say the 'Storm was absolutely fantastic. One of the guys had a '0...

Sorted

Did the old service on the bike this weekend and even managed to change the plugs. Thanks for the tips, used a bit of rubber hose to locate and twist. Doesn't seem to clunk as much going into 1st now! The plug tool in the bike toolkit worked ok, but it wasn't really longenough for the front cylinder...
