On he cct side, can I just say a big thank you to sirch345 for the guide on changing them, without it I would have been totally screwed :mrgreen: . Look at the wiring around the headstock as there is a known problem there where the wiring goes through a clamp and rubs through insulation causing a short, which tbh sounds very like the sort of problem you are having. I would not expect a side stand switch to cuase those sort of problems.

Wavey brake discs

Hi all

I was wondering if the wavey style brake discs actually do anything to improve the braking or is it all purely for looks?

Seen some cheap and wondering if its worht the bother.

Voltages sound ok to me, much the same as every bike I have ever owned in fact. Put your meter to the AC volts range and see what you get then, any significant ac volts say over about 1v will destroy the battery in qucik time. Well mines Black and I'm from your neck of the woods but I dont think it was me as I dont remember going that far yesterday, I'm more likely to be spotted around the Shoreham side and there has to be more than 2 of us around here anyway 8)

Kids are by far the most stressfull thing that can ever happen to you and when things like this happen... :!:

My 2 went in for tonsillectomies (spelling? ) at about 5years and they were only in overnight and I was worried sick.
