stuttering idle speed
Its hard to explain but sometimes when its idling the revs drop quickly from 1400 revs to about 800,its on the verge of stalling,which it was doing until i turned the idle up.Also pulling away it needs a lot of revs to stop that feeling that it might cut out. Weird,when i push the piston back in the fluid level rises,the brake pedal pumps it out so far about 8mm,then it wont go any further,there is no fluid leaking from the seal,why it only comes out so far and stops is odd,sack it gonna get a replacement....

Ok here goes,rear brake bleeding should be simples yeah? Pump lever,crack bleed nipple let air escape,tighten nipple,release lever and the fluid goes down in the res,all well and good,but the piston doesnt move a bit even after repeating said process a zillion times,is it me or do you lot reckon the...

Chris found a nice shaped chemical bottle from work,half a litre,white heatproof plastic connected it to the rad expansion pipe and run the tube to the bottom of it syphon style,took it for a run and the level stopped constant in the bottle,got it hot too.Seems ok and i think its worth the compromis...

Just seen a hrc one from tyga performance Tim.Looks like a pop bottle to me,and it cost 15 quid,think its gonna be the old rola cola route for me!Thanks for the reply in the other post,still waiting for 14 days to pass so i know i am ok..

Hi all,just wondering about the possible pitfalls of getting rid of the expansion tank.With it off the view through the engine is much nicer,was thinking of getting hold of one of those bottles that look like a drinks bottle,you see them on race bikes and the like,any thoughts anyone?

Will do Chris,looking forward to getting it on and hoping i can tell the difference,was thinking of putting some miles in with the old shock,then quick change and back out again so i can tell if it was worth it.Whats the standard shock like resprung?Its gonna feel some difference surely,bet dampings...
