When a skinny apprentice I found that if you plugged a whole 100m coil of airline hose into an airline at 100psi after you've filled it with 1/8" cap head screws it fires like a machine gun. Also made bolt bombs with BROWN matchheads. They're absolutely safe until you heat them..........try it ...

Snow, snow, quick quick- maybe not

Bunch of wussies, all of 'em.
Fair weather bikers, the whole paddock.

On the other hand, I didn't get the cover off, either.
Just watched WSB on telly in warm front room.

Well, it's booked, through Pole Position. Ferries as well. Speedferries came up cheapest. Leaving 20th Oct, back 30th. Including grandstand between turns 1 and 2, big TV view, 3 days entries. Inc ferries it came to £146.36 each. Three days going down, so we can hoon some mountain passes, but crammi...

I'm up for that- Sevenoaks, Kent.
Bit snowy today, though, so I might just watch WSB on the telly instead.

Clutch locking tool

Yeah, I made one from the plans in the Haynes manual. Must have got something wrong, 'cause it bent and I ended up hiring a proper Honda one for the day from the local dealer. Only charged me a fiver, so not so bad. Got to do it again soon as I've picked up a spare clutch from E-bay and am still try...

Just noticed, Mike- you've got them fitted upside down as well!
They just look right that way up.
The lettering on them shows they should be fitted the other way up, and that's the way they're shown in the mnfrs literature, too.

Mirror indy's

Yup, been using the plain black ones like those above for about three months now. On my third set, either the weight of the cover breaks them off at the stem base or the bloody postman clouts them with his bag! Now got the fake carbon ones as per above. IMO the LED's aren't bright enough on their ow...

Carbon mudguard-Success!

Just upgraded to a carbon fibre front mudguard. Fancied one for ages, to match the hugger (which is really plastic). Got my chance when bike blew over in the wind (cover must have caught a gust. Anywho, cracked standard yellow one, so needed a replacement. Just told the wife that replacement was £9...

Thanks, Lee, I found that one, and several others, but they're all ticket agencies. Surely it's cheaper to just buy them from the circuit?

Cheap Nitrous kit (really cheap...)

So there's a simple bolt-on nitrous kit on Fleabay. Obvously only aimed at low-capacity engines, but what if you put three or four on and set them all off at once? Drill the top of the airbox and squirt it straight down the bellmouths, and bob's your dad's brother. You could tapes all the triggers t...
