Has anyone tried the difference between the 750 and 800 clip ons?

I have a pair of 800s but debating if to cut the fairing!

Are the 800s higher riding position than the 750s?

I need a more upright position for my back and to take the weight of my wrists/elbows

We did try a little heat around the rubber but only with a hot air gun. I remember as well Nick did try digging at the rubber but it ended up revealing the metal inner, I'll have a better look in the morning.

Hi, I have all the internals out, removed hex bolt, clip etc etc. The oil seal is stuck solid that's the only thing to be removed.
