Re: EMC SHOCKS

Have one with single rebound adjustment on my bike. Cured the problems I had (Very hard stock spring, not enough damping). Fiddled very little with it since putting it on so I guess it does the job (I don't ride very hard). Would like some hydraulic preload for 2 up trips with luggage though....

Re: Adjusting APE CCTs

Just fitted manuals ccts on mine. Sounds about the same when cold, maybe a little more whirring than ticking. When I got it to temperature the 2500-3000 flapping noise from the front tensioner came back. Do you thing I should tighten it a little or I got nothing to worry about now?

DPR8... spark plugs

Anybody using DPR8 instead of the OE DPR9 plugs? It is the Varadero plug, and that number refers to external temperature. Would it be safe?

Thanks

Upgrade suspension or buy a blade?

What do you guys think or know already? Will a sorted firestorm ever feel like a stock 929 or 954 blade?

fireblade forks

I remember some posts about fireblade conventional forks fitting straight on. If anyone has any relevant links or info it would be appreciated.
Thanks
