yeah i was using hair dryer, watched plenty of vids on how to do it and the stuff itself worked well on the flatter parts, it was when it came to the curves then it would crease and the carbon fibre effect was replaced by a rolled up vinyl effect! think the stuff would be perfect for putting decals ...

attempted to do my fairing lowers in carbon vinyl, virtually impossible to get smooth all over especially around the edges so pinned that idea and prepping it for painting again!

just finished mine today, furthest I have ever ventured into a bike engine and was amazed how easy it was with the instructions provided, also a thanks to lloydcbr who posted some pics on the the 'what have you done to your storm today' thread as that gave me the confidence to carry on after taking ...

got mine yesterday, very well made it seems...look far too nice to be hidden away though!

had another go alec and found it! i am going to stop where i am now and wait for my mate who is a mechanic to come over and give me a hand for the rest of it!

i just got mine too and I am slowly having a go at it....on number 7 of the instructions i cant seem to find RT! I can find an FT but not an RT, there is one other mark during the rotation but no letters....would this be it?

beats me im a mere 8 years into ownership!

maybe once the airfield is finished they would like to invite limited editions up for a play on it!

not sure if it needs lubing, cant remember from when i changed mine a few year back....if you do i would recommend booty lube from ann summers

its crazy that no one can confirm what engine numbers or chassis numbers were the limited edition, i honestly think though that there wont be any fakes out there....its a lot of hassle to go to in order to make it exactly the same!

oooh now thats nice....wonder if they could do it in woodchip?

well i have some ordered off fleabay so will have a little attempt at it and post the results on here.....if it doesnt work it needed a respray anyhoo!
