Choking

It's cold and my bike doesn't like it. What makes starting even more of a prob is the choke knob retreats to halfway out when I let go, and won't stay fully out. Anyone got an idea what's wrong or how I can fix it? An old wooden clothes peg is standing in at the moment!!

I keep thinking about it, but Lancaster is a bit far to travel, and I haven't got an alternative to the bike so can't afford to have it off the road whilst the forks are sent away. Does anyone do springs and valves as a kit?

If you're as lazy as me...you could just stick a carbon yoke protector over the top for about a tenner.

The pro-lites may not look any different...but when I paid £260 for a pair of discs with pads and free carriage by UPS, compared to Hondas £190+ PER SIDE(!) there ain't no competition when you're skint.

Max, what pads are you using? I've got prolite discs and could do with a bit more bite....the standard EBC pads don't seem to deliver. The lads in the garage who fitted my discs reckon HH sintered pads can warp the discs. Anyone else got a point of view?? Already got steel hoses so I put it down to ...

Top johnnies this lot. Mail order only. I got some EBC pro-lite from discs and two pairs of HH pads for £260 with free carriage. Prolite discs everywhere else were £140 each. They arrived before lunchtime the next day via UPS. Bargain. :D
