Yes I would do this, in fact I did send the rear one back as they had used the opposite handed banjo to the OEM set up, and it just didn’t work.. I naively thought that a kit specific to the bike would be correct..

Today I have started it for the first time since basically finding it in a ditch. 6 months later an a full strip down/rebuild and it started on the button.

Why do they always supply one out of 4 banjos with a straight end? To my mind, if this is for the dbl banjo then it looks a bit odd having one straight and one bent. It does work with both bent - at least then they follow the same pathway.

I was only questioning as I thought straight down was in direct line with the vac hose but where possible as a newbie I like to do it as Honda did it.

Presumably the clutch microswitch? Having never ridden one of these before owning it, I’m assuming this is the case ? (Could just short across the terminals, or is it a normally closed switch?)
