Re: Hi from Reading
Cheers  Completely different feel to the Firestorm....everything is 'harder'. Good fun for short blasts, but wouldn't want to do any distance on it  Is the front end off of a TLR or something else? Still running the infamous rotary shock or has it been swapped out? Looks very nice 👍 Fr...

Re: Hi from Reading
Quick update. Victor running fab...put a few thousand hundred miles on this year (yes, pathetic), but loving it! I did put the standard clip-on bars back on though, as I found that the angle of the VFR bars I'd fitted caused wrist ache after about a day's riding. Slight neck ache now on long rides w...

Re: Exhaust Recommendation for Firestorm
Took a chance on GR Moto cans and link pipes. Look good, sound good, build quality good, value for money good. No jetting changes, runs fab and I run with baffles out (and ear plugs!) Cans are etched BSAU -193A...so obviously legal  https://am3pap003files.storage.live.com/y4mKGbs_UEFMzgOMg0Sd7w...

Victor's first ride out
After all the work over the Winter, at last a good day for a first test ride since I rode it home after buying last November. All working perfectly, lovely grunty engine and handles much better than my VFR800 VTEC. Most impressed  Couple of pics from today's 100 mile ride, and yes, I did ha...

Re: Do these flangy 😆 bits come off?!
I bought and fitted a set from Mac...top quality! Only hard bits are: 1) Undoing the old crusty nuts on the studs without shearing them off...use lots of Plusgas or Shock Unlock spray days in advance, then heat if needed. 2) Cutting the old single piece clamps off the downpipes. I slid them down the...

Re: MOTOBATT Battery
Make sure the meter dial is set to the 20 Volt DC range.
Test it with a standard 1.5V AA torch battery,
The meter is either set wrong or broken.
