Decided to order a pair of refurbished cans which I'm going to perform a baffle-ectomy on. Looking to get that deep growl!

Has anyone here ever painted the stock cans?

I'm the same height as you. My DB screen drove me insane with head turbulence unless I was in anything other than flat on the tank.
