Re: I fell off!

Afternoon, Thanks for the replies. Yeah, reluctant and a bit sad to see her go, would be great to see her rebuilt and running around being enjoyed by someone else. She felt fantastic right at the end with the forks done (heavier (K-tech 9.5 rating) linear springs, 10w oil, 140 mm gap, front dropped ...

Re: I fell off!

Hey all, As much as I want to, I'm not going to have the time to rebuild the bike (and to be honest I'd rather use the rebuild funds towards another bike/a different experience). Would anyone be willing to take it off my hands? Don't want anything for it, but you would need to come and collect it wi...

Re: I fell off!

Thanks for the replies, guys. Sorry to hear PopKat isn't well :( sirch345 I'm okay...ish, thanks for asking. All the aches and pain have left besides my hip/leg giving me some grief. Landed heavy my on hip and despite two weeks passing it's far from better. I think some other muscles are taking the ...

I fell off!

Hey all, This wasn't supposed to be my first post of the 'season' (had intended to post some updates and stuff I did over the winter) but, well....I fell off a few weeks back, managed to high side it on the last session of my first track day. :silent: Can share details later if wanted but at the min...

Re: New exhausts...

So much for getting back to you guys by the weekend, apologies for the delay. Appreciate the comments  Thanks for the info tony.mon . I asked around and it seems that going from almost no throttle to wide open does lean out the mixture...on a dyno. I was given the same explanation by two pl...

Re: New exhausts...

Glad my comments could help :D Yeah, mid mount is probably the more correct term, they are certainly not as high mounted as some systems. To answer you question, I'm not 100% sure. The bike is not kept at home so I can't check right now. I will get a chance at the weekend and will let you know. In f...

Re: Riding help...leaning

Thanks for all the comments guys  In the end (two weeks ago now), I went and bought a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT (an older tyre design for sure but good reviews and loyal following even now...or so I read). I was needing a rear in a bit of a hurry, called around a bunch of tyre places ...

Re: Riding help...leaning

Thanks for all of your feedback, much appreciated  I've took the advice offered and will be putting a new set of tyres on it soon. I've been looking last week trying to decide on which tyre to choose. I do like Michelins in general (used then on cars and mountain bikes before) and the Miche...

Re: Riding help...leaning

Thanks for the responses guys  I guess from what I opened with I gave the impression of someone charging around blind bends, dragging the pegs at way above the speed limit on busy roads. That is not the case. 1) I NEED my driving license for work so I'm not offering that up for the chopping...

Riding help...leaning

Hey all, Some of you may know already that I'm new to riding. Thankfully I've had a fair amount of seat time (although not as much as I'd like, at best one day a week) over the past few months and my confidence is building as I get used to riding and the bike. I've been learning to lean more in the ...

Re: A rather rounded stator cover bolt...

Thanks

They worked out less expensive than the cheapest genuine ones I could find when you account for the (genuine) o-rings they supply, even with postage added in.

Re: Replacement screen?

Which one as in brand name or type of screen? This is the screen that is currently fitted on mine: https://i.postimg.cc/fSCRHSwX/Screen-Type.jpg It's too steep (and dark) for my taste. I don't know who made it, I had it out not too long ago and I didn't see any obvious markings. On the plus side, I'...

Re: A rather rounded stator cover bolt...

TBH, I was in half a mind to take the cover off and polish it but haven't seen it done very often and I can't find the pics to take another look. Slight aside but I got a few gaskets (genarator cover, clutch slave and front sprocket) made by Interface Performance Materials. Ever used their gaskets b...
