Got the wiring soldered up and re-wrapped after removing the spyball alarm and removed the sub frame. Was planning to sand it down and paint it myself, but at a closer look it could need a proper blasting and maybe powder coating :Disbelief: :D https://i.imgur.com/FacLoep.jpg Well done :thumbup:

I have just bought mine to. 62000km on the odo, -99. There is a bit of corrosion on the terminal on the starter, but i think i leave it that way, but i did fill waterproof grease on it. Then i checked the valvecleareance witch was a bit on the tight side, but within, so i left em. Im gonna, instal E...

1. checked valves, some tight but within

I just bought the VTR1000F -99 62000km and it has fresh Metzeler Z6 on, (0620). Thanks to everyone :D Just now iv been measuring valveclearance. Some where on the tight side (total 62000km), but i leave em for some 1000km. Witch one? mm? 12mm plug spanner is what you want. 12mm being the plug thread size but the hex socket part is 18mm. Hope that makes sense. Thin wall socket will do the job or look on ebay... You do knw there is a search option on the forum. Try it you may find out the answers to your questions quic...
