Re: Bump start

Thanks for replies.

Yeah, there's a decent slope near me but if it doesn't fire up,pushing it back uphill!

I think I've tried 2nd gear but the wheel just locks up?

Re: bars levers wrist ache

Thanks for replies.
I plan to turn the clip ons upside down so they angle up a bit and fit lower footpegs to take a bit of weight off my wrists.
Then maybe vfr bars or bar risers.

I've not had this problem on other bikes with higher bars.

Re: Max torque cans

I've got Microns at high level.
One needs a new end gasket, wadding is blowing out.
The other is rattling, sounds like loose baffle?
Both have a tiny hole, maybe a grub/worm screw someone said?

bars levers wrist ache

Is my painful left wrist likely to be caused by the low bars or the apparently stiff clutch?
Or both?
I don't want to do work and find the problem remains.
Thinking of raised bars or vfr bars and/or clutch bleed/braided lines/inspection of clutch + slave cylinders.

Bump start

Bike wouldn't start up and battery faded so tried bumping it,using 4th gear as lower gears just lock back wheel. No joy but sitting there breathless, hit the starter and she fired up! Hadn't ridden for about 6 weeks I suppose, think I'll bring battery indoors in future I was the only bike at Epping,co...

Re: Dilemma - keep the storm?

Better the devil you know?

Now that Guyvers (N4) is gone,I reckon Burwins,Essex Road is recommended.
Re the rough running,I'm pretty certain what he'd say "Put E10 in it and run it for at least 200 miles"

Re: luggage

Realized I have hi rise exhausts so don't think it would work.
I'll probably use backpack and bungees.
