Re: swing arm

Just had mine powder coated satin black and like it, getting the spare one polished at some point, the only downside to powder coating was removing all the bearings for prep, when returned I renewed the bearings so extra cost.
Could wrap the smooth section?

Re: Colour thoughts

Sounds spot on to me, I am going black gloss wheels satin black sub frame, swing arm satin black body work is staying Honda red may change to gloss black,
frame due to cost will stay its original Colour but have thought about wrapping the smooth bits.

Carb insulators rubbers has anyone removed the rubber peg that engages with the band insulator (jubilee clip)? Seem to me if the plug is removed the clips could be placed in a better position for access, no need to use the silly access hole etc. I have some nice SS clips I would like to use to fit t...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Installed the large needle bearing to the left side of the swingarm today, don’t know why was worried about getting the install right. Went in fine the bearing drift width was 14.5mm so when flush bearing was at the right depth. Torqued down the front sprocket and refitted the sprocket casing seem t...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Soon Rear end will all be done, then cct’s to do new coolant hoses to fit, tackle the front sump bolt that’s sheared as every bit that sticks out on the bike will be removed as I may need to lay it down on its side :( to get to the bolt if that does not work its sump off. The main thing it's keeping...
