A while ago I promised a VTR <--> Yamaha TRX850 comparison as I was getting off the long term latter for the former. Here it is in its potted glory. I do notice less efficient switch gear when it comes to cold gloved hand use on the VTR compared to the TRX. Indicator and kill switch especially. But...

buying a 22mm spanner for a job. putting it in the toolbox when i got home. not finding it there when needed. emptied the toolbox and looked at each spanner. using a barco adjustable spanner to get the job done. having another look in the toolbox just now, while breakfast is on - and seeing the span...

my nearest bikeshop is 45 mins away sadly. given the distance and time, it all gets bought on line. the zed is nearly 40, so the dealer wont be stocking bits :( . car parts and oil mostly from the local motor factor. oem bits for the car are special order from classic parts in sweden. online does gi...

when i ride a bike with clipons, i find daily abdominal exercises helpful. no six-pack and doctor reminds me that i'm no longer 21. without the exercise, i soon lean on the bars. does the vxr tank offer support for body?

welcome to the forum. we take a run through Cumbria on both the yorkshire meeting at the start of teh year and on the way up to the Scotland meet that we just had 3 weeks ago. you might have heard us :lol: on the m6, or the a66/a5086? maybe next year, i'll have a vtr to join in for a few miles

This one he gets to drive an FW08 v's Button driving a 6 wheeler that never raced in period... not just drive, rebuild too. wonder what happens to prototypes and each new generation of race car. do they get stripped/crushed, stored until uncompetitive/the innovations no longer offer competitive adv...
