Shame about the high wind today it has m...

Re: Chosen a firestorm and picking up on saturday
Shame you're coming up on Saturday. I'm out and about that day. Anyway, don't worry too much about the tank capacity. Just fill it up to the brim with the bike upright. Easiest sitting on it. You get at least another litre (or more) in the tank that way. Have fun, bring sun glasses.... Hi again, Qu...

Let me check my cave when I'm back at the weekend. Can't remember if I still have the rack. I know I have a scrapped box.
It's a bit hand painted so will fit in with your stead.
Let me know if you find it.
Many thanks,
Mat..

Re: Chosen a firestorm and picking up on saturday
regarding the cosmetics thats exactly what i thought from the photos however the seller assures me close up it really is very bad (maybe we have different standards!) i think the main issue is not the state of the tank and plastics but the fact that much of the frame, engine, wheels, bits and bobs ...

Re: Moving on from the VTR....again!
Picking an R1200GS up in around a week, so it's time to say goodbye to the VTR soon. I'll be giving it a once-over then off to the bay she goes. Aside from the starter connector corroding (easily sorted) she has been 100% reliable in almost 4 years of ownership and a trip around Europe. I fancied a...

Chosen a firestorm and picking up on saturday
Hi all, Thanks for all the advice on my last post regarding what to look for when purchasing an old firestorm. And big thanks to Ian (Kermit) who kindly went and viewed one for me. Anyway I've decided to go with that one up in Hexham. A lot rougher cosmetically than the other option but it does have...

Sorry to keep posting..
Just been looking around on the site for the techs for the MCCT mod and the stopper safety mod. All I can find is loads old discussions and referenc to them but not the actual techs.
Can anybody direct me to them. Thought I'd have a read out of interest..
