Re: VTR in MCN
Has anyone any idea what point I'm trying to make? I got wound up and now I don't know why :? I think I have similar thoughts whenever I see an over the top sportscar. They make a lot of noise and then have to go at 1mph out of fear of leaving their bumper on a speed bump. Makes me wonder... if you...

Re: What's your day job?
I suppose the bigger problem is owning a home. Once you fully own a place, there's not really that much expenditure besides food, travel, expenses and maintenance. So, unless you're trying to keep up some fancy lifestyle, you could easily get by with a few day's work. When you're paying £20k a year ...

I was well on my way to being money rich until I bought a condo in a tourist town. If I never would have never had kids and kept my TV job in LA, I would be driving a Ferrari by now. Wouldnt change it for the world. ....would be nice to have a Ferrari though... What sort of hours were you doing? Wa...

Re: Spark plug cap size?
Bought 2nd hand coils for £25 to swap and see whether the ignition coils are causing me problems. If not, I can always sell them on.

Re: Spark plug cap size?
Ah, thanks for the explanation!
I have ordered the ignition coils (with the original caps), so in that case I will just stick with them for the time being.

Spark plug cap size?
Hello,
I've found that the resistance is 5k ohms. If I recall correctly it's a terminal stud? And what is the plug size?

Re: Engine problems - due to heat?
- Sparkplugs were changed after the problem was noticed hoping for an improvement. Thus, a 2nd change unlikely to solve the problem. However, I suppose even if I was to change them and see no difference.. I could still use the existing ones in the future. - "If the throttle is lightly "bli...

leaving my old job meant being being a lot more broke a lot more of the time but what good ever came from a dad being away from the family that he provided lots of money to? None is right! I had a few friends growing up that had money and their dads were never around. It's a bad recipe. I wanna be ...

Engine problems - due to heat?
Hello, (long read, sorry) This has been going on for a while now, but I've been desperate to see some logic in it. Hopefully I am not inventing it. Every day of the week the bike ran perfectly fine in the morning. It turned on without any problems and idled nicely. Upon finishing work, I'd get back ...
