i think the road temperature was to blame (ignoring the speed) it had been wet in the morning but dry in the afternoon so i think it was a bit too cold for those speeds

tried stillsons, tried welding a nut, no joy

front exhaust stud on my new engine was broken, welded a bolt to the end so i could still use but hasn't worked great, the other stud has no thread left its been stripped.. tips on removing them? will drill if i have to. also is it save to drill out and re-tap to and put an m10 bolt in each? if so w...

likely its a little lean, though at this moment i have no clue ive done 50 miles since new engine and carbs where set up for the old engine.

the plug change im sure solved it on the last engine.

i had surging on my last engine i think it turned out to be the plugs, i really need some quieter exhausts though these ones are far too loud! or some 2.5" db killers.
