I fitted new chain sprockets at about 13,000 miles with scotoiler at same time. Been excellent no regrets, occasionally needs last bit of pipe realigning to chain, excess oil wipes off easy enough. VTR is now on about 48,000 miles chain and sprockets are still looking good. On my ZZR1400 its had one...

It can be fitted without the pannier racks, rear racks are all about the same size whichever make you buy

Still got modified brackets for the panniers and top box I had on it they can come off. Its the right hand side pannier rack attatchment which requires rewelding. I've got one it has pannier racks (top box and panniers sold) with it which I used to use when touring on VTR. I think it needs some welding but its all there including bracket which goes into subframe.

On the eastern route there's a very good biker/car cafe south of Pickering called NY500 well worth a visit. Beware on western route, site of Britains worst road accident at Dibbles bridge between Pateley Bridge and Grassington. From buttertubs pass run up to Tan Hill Inn (Britains highest pub) then ...
