Well, it has all gone, and to another VTR owner who is also building a hill climb/sprinter, apparently going to graft the engine into another frame, to build a 'supermoto' obviously I've bagsied first go.....

I miss my TL1000S, brute of a bike, not particularly flat out, but on acceleration. She was my first forray in to the VTwin world!! :twisted: It would effortlessly in any of the first 4 gears lift the front, mine was a true 97 widowmaker, Suzuki softened them abit later on with revised head porting,...

I'd take £400 for the engine and throw the rest in for free

I was there on my 'snot rocket' #28 after a slippy start ended up been a jolly good day! nowhere near the quickest up't hill but got my fastest time so far. now a winter of modifiying and weight loss (me and bike...) some better tyres and shall see what next yr brings :lol: https://www.facebook.com/...
