Where to mount a camera?

As I mentioned, I've got a new action camera and wanted to try it out riding the storm, but can't work out how best to mount it. It came with fixings for a cycle helmet, handlebar and sticky pad, but there's nowhere obvious to put it and am tending towards mounting it on the (flip top) helmet, but c...

Suzuki TL000

Pulled up at the lights the other day beside a red TL1000. He went for it a bit, I followed, and when he saw me chasing started pulling effortless wheelies, not easy on a Firestorm methinks, but I did appreciate the view!

Re: Bike damaged over night

Thanks for the comments guys! The more I think about it, the more I think maybe it was just the wind. Have touched up the scraped fairing a bit, but have noticed 2 cracks 2-3 inches long, one where it scraped on the cornery bit on LHS under/in front of the bars & the other from the headlamp runn...

Bike damaged over night

Damn! Last night I left my bike parked outside my girlfriend's place for the first time (with disk lock & chain lock). This morning as I drove away I noticed I weird noise from the front end, so pulled over to check it out. I then spotted mud on my left wing mirror, minor but significant damage ...

Re: Happy Birthday Mike TW9

Lol  Only used the camera cycling so far, the storm still hasn't been out for a while, but it's dry, so I might just get out on it with the camera for a quick test today, but gonna settle down to the Davis Cup tennis doubles with the Murray brothers first. Best footage so far? A policeman very ...

Re: coming back to biking

Me? Took a c. 10 year break from biking after running my old Yam 600 Diversion into the ground, being a bit short of cash & realising I could happily cycle most places anyway. Talking with guys at work kept putting the thought of getting a bike again into my head. I nearly replaced the Yam with ...

Re: My recent trip to France and Spain

OK, think I've worked out how to get photos originally encrypted as REM files off my Blackberry, onto Photobucket and then post the link here, but I could be wrong! I took this one at the top of the pass in Andorra from one of it's countless petrol stations (snow on the mountains & about 10 degr...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Went to GrainStorm and did nowt but chat, eat and drink coffee. But later on I washed the bike down and made a bit of progress with fixing my seat bag on in preparation for a trip to France and Spain in a couple of weeks. I also ordered a new rear tyre - Dunlop Roadsmart 2 (thanks for the advice Ton...

Oh, and welcome to the forum!
