i forgot to add that the vfr750 clipons i fitted , i did NOT have to cut the fairing, i adjusted the angle of clutch and brake handle slightly, put the bike on full lock left and adjusted clipon,same with the right lock so it touches the fuel tank, i also had to slightly change the angle of the horn...

why would i be using standards cct/s after all the advice on this forum i have opted for manuals?
as for gaskets ive found that bare metal to bare metal never gets a seal for some strange reason?

Wicky, thankyou for the thread for honda parts, i have ordered a couple of gaskets, some people use silicone each to their own,im a bit set in my ways so will fit a new gasket the same as the manufacturer did when the bike was new. that is a good site for all to use and reasonably priced i will be u...

after snapping a few drill bits i snotted some weld on the snapped bolt filed a flat,drowned with penetrating fluid for luck and spannered it out? a lot cheaper than drill bits and easy outs? if you can access an arc welder or mig?? i know how frustrating it is before you get the bas---d thing out??...

i have some old 41mm vfr 750 clipons, the locking lugs (for want of a better techy word) are on the rear side of clip ons and not on the front of clip on that the vtr firestorm originals are?? my questions are ?? has any one fitted these and"TRUSTED" the clipons to be secured by one bolt o...
