Original Silencer Mounting position
Dear All, I've removed the Arrows racing exhaust and am going to replace them with the original Honda silencers (local cops did not like the sound!!). I've got a pair of originals from Ebay and need advice on the fitting. the mounting tabs (2 of them) can fit either inboard or outboard of the mounti...

Re: Which 12V air compressor / tyre pump?
Hey guys, forget the wimpy compressors using the cigarette lighter adaptors. I've go 4x4 and we swear by the heavy duty stuff using the crocodile clips. Wire gauges are too small for the current draw when pumping up large 4x4 tyres. see link http://www.bushranger.com.au/compressor_range.php these ar...

Re: Hyperpro Spring installation direction
That's the confusion, the HyperPro instructions says its normally close coils up but to refer to the front page label and see what it says. Had a look and the label says NOTHING - NADA! But like cybercarl says its a spring, it should work whichever way its installed. I may go with the Honda Workshop...

Hyperpro Spring installation direction
Hi All
Any advice on which direction to install the HyperPro springs? Close coils down or up? The original Honda springs specifies installation with the close coils facing down.

Dear All
For those who have done the stopper mod, are there any cases out there of the CCT giving way and being saved by the stopper? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Hello from Hong Kong
Hi Guys After a hiatus of 10 years from riding, decided that i'd better get back on the saddle. Got myself the a silver 1998 Firestorm with 38,000kms on it. Engine sounds and run fine but the previous owner had swapped to the K&N air filter and with the resulting hole in the low-mid range area w...

Re: Progressive Springs
Hi seb421 Discussions on the forum seems to be mostly positive for the HyperPro and for the K Tech. But then anything is better than the original springs in the Firestorm. My 1999 Firestorm's fork springs are totally sacked out (front sag at 55mm and i cant reduce it anymore), its on maximum preload...
