Thanks for all the help! I'll take the lever apart and grease before buying bits. Cheers Wicky, I'll do the pads & see what happens. It'll be a couple of weeks until I can afford to do the lines, fluid, & master cylinder service anyway. :thumbup:

As I'm sure you may have seen, after trawling through old posts...! There are a couple of options, VFR bars can fit with a couple of mods, later VTR bars have less drop & top yoke conversions for a fully upright riding position are available. None of these mods seem expensive or difficult. :thum...

It would be worth popping a bit of 8mm aluminium rod into your new Honda CCT's as a fail safe, I.e "the stopper mod".
