Re: fuel storage

My Granada still has 10yr old fuel in the tank because it's on lpg, every so often I switch it over to keep it all from seizing up and it's running on that fine. All this 3 month shelf life is rubbish!

Re: Track days 2015.....

Let me know if you make it down to Pembury in South Wales. I am definitely going to do one this year, and my mate reckons its a great track, he's done it several times.

It is necessary if you want to clean all the old crap and ali filings out of the bottom of the fork leg and if you want to set the air gap correctly.

Re: must of been done before 180/190 tyres

I haven't tried it, but seem to remember reading a couple of threads on here where people say they tried it and gave up as it wasn't right.

Go for a Michelin they measure about 186 for a 180 anyway, as well as being great tyres.

Re: Welding Questions Help

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

I would put it in top gear, run the engine and use a hacksaw on the spinning shaft to deepen the slot till a circlip would hold properly.

But then I am a nut with only 3 fingers left.

Re: Guy Martin on TV again.

I loved it, and as for them not getting it running right before they went, remember they built a bike with a turbo specifically to cope with the mega high altitude. It may have run perfectly at sea level, OR it may have had running problems but they knew it was no point tuning it at sea level for it...
