I took 40 as the age I could say what I wanted to who ever I chose, and have got into all sorts of trouble this year, so I guess the coming year I should ramp it up a bit!
My thoughts are.... Where the pipes are squashed the diameter is smaller. Therefore as exhaust exit it helps to build up speed of the gasses passing, almost like holding the end of a hose pipe.. This also adds more back pressure which helps to recycle wasted fuel in the pipes for a second chance. I...
Now sold, thanks peeps. Genuinely shed a tear as it went off in a van. Gutted! Hi peeps. Bit sad about it, but it's done a couple of hundred miles since last MOT as I am now racing dinghys 3 times a week so don't have time to ride. I think I am ok putting an Ebay link to the ad with details? I have ...
It'll burn off really quickly, clean with thinners first, just go careful (which you should be anyway on new pads). I have got various things on pads in the past when cleaning up calipers and pistons and never felt the slightest difference when riding or driving. Obviously just get a feel for them a...

I've always been averse to fitting boxes on sports bikes, but I would ride mine much more if it had a box on it. How strong are they? Will they hold a decent size top box?
Well that was a busy few days... Good to see plenty of posts providing food or thought... Some of the observations I have already witnessed, such as oil pouring from the rear CCT when loosening the bolt off at the back, and others I hadn't considered until just now like Sirch's observation where th...
Can I bring a bit of (hopefully) clarity here. I run a storm with manuals, I don't claim to be a storm expert, but I work in a garage with a business partner, and we build bikes together, now my partner has 30yrs service in honda workshops. I have tried arguing with him in the past, and to be frank ...
