Re: any advice? about to swap my flywheel
Inertia and rotating mass! Markus what's you view on the less mass making the bike harder to start and easier to stall at idle. Everything has it's pro's and cons so it would be good to know what are the cons specifically with the big twins. These are big pistons to move around which requires energ...

Re: any advice? about to swap my flywheel
Maybe you're not closing the throttle as far as you used to but it is physics. The lighter mass will both accelerate and decelerate quicker. So when you get quicker rev'ing you automatically get increased engine braking (or quicker deceleration) to go with it. Actually, physics say that y...

Plus I don't tend to run around asds with sharp objects or in a car, where seeing people because of high-vis will save their lives. I think even most people in Rugby are too smart for that 8O There you go with the assumptions again YMV... Just because you are smart enough, doesn't mean that all the...

Oh, I remember..
And in answer to the other questions... He was good, and still is... I bet on equal machines, he'd beat anyone posting on-line hands down, and a few of the young ones in MotoGP too...
And, the SP2 makes a very fine race bike once it's put a wee diet...

Re: Scammer in Swansea
I am from and live in Swansea and would like to point out that stuff like that in NOT commonly known to happen around here but I have heard stories of people being ripped off with similar scans from other areas. Taking that into consideration, if it was a scam, it may well be likely the person isn'...

I wear hi-wiz when the weather calls for it, and wouldn't go near a bike, even on a bright sunny day without the gear with reflective stripes on... But, it still comes down to riding defensively... I expect the numpties in the cages around me to try and hit me... That way, if they don't, I get a nic...

Re: What brand of bike do you dislike?
There's good ones and bad ones in every range, for example the drag bike that Harley make is ok. As to riders, well, that's the same as saying left handed people are better, or a particular religion is better than another. There's a few quick newbies, a few quick born agains, but mostly because the...
