Re: changed bars and indicators won't work?

+1 no switch issue, most likely it is just the connector to the indicator but you can also check on the actual light bulb if it's not dead, or see if it seated right in the socket

Re: Forks twisted?

I have used needle roller bearings on the bottom of the steering stem and standard ball bearings on the top, is there any chance this could cause problems? I couldn't see why. I will try just tightening the bearings up a bit more if not. I think each need different torque, so having a mix will caus...

Re: Religion ??

Maybe science could be labelled as a religion and the deity being the universe itself. Wasn't we walking with dinosaurs on TV   (:-}) Yea, the Flintstones I usually stay away from these discussions, but it was just ignited in me after some remarks on the Superhawk forum in the wake of th...

Re: New Here

Thanks Lloyd,
The spacers came with the CBR wheel, i used them without cutting or anything like that, almost a bolt on, beside drilling the arm and the caliper bracket, very easy mod. All though not the most cost effective, unless you get a good deal on the wheels.

Re: New Here

I used the CBR hub, axle and spacers that came with the wheel. I had to drill the swing arm a bit to 25mm axle size, I also drilled the OEM caliper to size and as for the rotor, had to flip it back words to fit in the caliper, so it was an easy fit. Before I went for this mod, I was worried at first...

Re: firestorm rear light bulbs

Most available led light replacement bulbs are actually less bright then the OEM bulbs, you have to make sure that it is bright first so people can see you behind, or you can go with teh Led Mod way and modify the whole unit, it is relatively easy and you can find the whole unit for low prices, not ...

Re: New Here

Thanks Guy's, BTW, if you didn't notice, both wheels are from CBR1000RR 08-11, the rear wheel I measures exactly 2.5 kilos lighter then the storm rear wheel, the front wheel by itself I'm not sure, but the entire front end is significantly lighter, there are also couple Ducati parts from an ST3 on t...

New Here

Hey everyone, I guess you can call me a newbie on this site, I live currently across the pond in Massachusetts, also active on the US Superhwak Forum for a while now and love it, but I was always looking to this forum as well. Grew up on the European side of the pond and lived and ride in Australia ...
